I've just ordered a rear light panel for my Z from PaulBailey design. I know they use lights clusters from a Fiat Coupe, but wondering where else I could buy them from except from Fiat direct. I've tried local scrappies but no joy there. Also, anyone got any knowledge on fitting the panel and lights. Any wiring problems???? CheerZ> Chris

Hi Chris.

The wiring up of the lights is not too much of a mare to do. Just make a note of what wire is what when you take the orginals out!. The hardest thing I found was to install the panel itself. I was a bit out of shape on my one so I had to bend it round a bit to install. Whatever effort it takes will be worth it mate, they look shit hot!!

If you do need any more info give me a shout.

I've been told by a couple of people that the way to install the panel is with black silicone???? Is that how you did yours? ALso, whats it like ripping the old one out? Any probs. CheerZ Chris

Not too bad getting the original off. Strip out all the internal panels for access to the nuts and take them off. I then got a screw driver behind the panel and SLOWLY pulled it a way from the body. The reason I say slowly is that "Black Silicone" is the type that does not set. So when you take it off be very carefull you don't let any drop onto the car. It Is a BITCH to get off. This stuff does have its purpose stopping any water getting into the electrics and the rear compartment. The bigest problem is where can you get fixings to the new one ( you will see what I mean when you go to fit it!!) I managed to fix one side and then bent it around and got a fixing in the other side. I then left it up to the bodyshop to blend in the top where it joins the body. Worth making sure this part it done right as it makes it look like it was there from day one. If you are going to fit it yourself take your time and get it positioned right.
