am i right in saying that all of the tubes under the plenum (water tubes etc) can be removed if i have dome a throttle body water bypass?

just wondered what the other tubes are for?

Yep all the water and vac tubes can go especially if youve got rid of the EGR and AIV's makes it even more simplified.

i have deleted the aiv's, egr but think i still have the carbon canister so do i have to run two vac lines from there somewhere? as i think a couple of the pipes under plenum routed this?

by both sides of the plenum there are vac solenoids can anybody tell me if they are still needed or what there actually for?

perhaps im just too tired and being a numpty but it seems like i still have the egr and prvr solenoids connected. im sure i have deleted the aiv solenoids but as i have not deleted the carbon canister yet i take it i cannot remove the prvr vac solenoid and lines?

ok whats the benifit of taking out these vacum pipes/valves? is it just purly less to go wrong? is there any neagative effects to worry about? if not i think i may tackle these in the morning

You dont want to start deleting stuff without the appropriate mods lol

what mods? ive already removed all my pipe work from under the plenum, was going to get my angle grinder on certain parts to remove the rest of the bits that do not need to be there, like the channel ways under the throttle bodys with the pipes attached and the pipe joins half way down the underside on the left and right of the plenum.

as far as i was aware and according to all readups ive read so far, there isnt any mentions of "mods", it just says to delete and do this and that with whats left over.

PRVR can be ripped out regardless of the carbon canister

Carbon canister has one vacuum pickup on the metal pipe coming from under the passenger throttle body & another that goes under the plenum to a metal pipe on the passenger side that then runs up to the balance bar.

HTH :)

im just going to rip it all out to be honest using Robo's guides, the diagrams in the FAQ area and gut instinct, if it goes together and works, good, if it fails to start then ill just have to chase things until it does start.

EGR is already removed, already deleted the pipe work under the plenum, going to start on the solenoids and extra tubing in the engine bay in a min, i know there is a tube i need to leave in place for the Carbon canister to vent down in the foot well, but i wont be able to remove the system as i cant take my front bumper off with out removing both wings along with it.
