Can anyone see a problem in doing this , i know they should be 35 profile but i,ve got a perfect pair of Potenzas that are like new and it seems a shame not to use them .

On the left is a 255/35/18 and on the right is 245/40/18 , what,s 10mm between friends :blushing:

Speedo will be out as the rolling radius will have changed.

I know but if you think of the difference between a new tyre with 8mm and a worn one with 2mm , there,s a 12mm difference in height just on wear alone that,s why i was thinking a 10mm difference in standard height can,t make that much of a difference with the speedo :confused:

you have to have the same size tyres on the same axal, if you ever smash it up and the police go round it and find it your insurance will be void and the mot man will spot it so your have to change it eventually anyway,

speedo wont be out graham he's putting it on the back

???????:hang:

yeah fine - i dont see a problem at all as long as you use a pair. just be aware the rolling circumfrence will be a bit different.

The usual is 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear, so somewhere between there will be fine!

oh im such an idiot! i thought we were putting a different size on the left to the right, i'l go back in me hole
