oh, 1 other thing, drivers window one touch does not work.

thanks again

after talking to jefftt at the brum meet about my cruise cont not working, he suggested maybe a broken wire on the steering wheel. ive checked that and still no dice , so it must be the brake kill switches behind the dash. mine is the same paul, the light comes on but you cant set the speed. i checked the switches and they work, and there is voltage across them.

cruse control working again today, must be a poor contact somewhere, steering wheel makes sense.

are they carbon brush contacts or spiral wire type?

I presume you are not trying to set cruise at too low or too high a speed?

Depends on UK or Import but I think mine only works between 40 and 90 ish.

the switches are actuall small microswitches, and it has normal wire comming off them. And ive tried setting it at various speeds, but to no avail, so looks like ill be hunting for the kill switches, behind the dash somewhere i think. bummer frown.gif
