Starting problem again!!!!!

Today the 300 would not start again!!!!

 

This is the second time in a few weeks.

 

Basically this car starts on the button everytime but now twice the car just turns over and will not fire, strong smell of fuel (not leaking) more like it floods instantly.

 

After a few minutes of turning over she fires into life with a ploom of unburnt fuel coming out of the exhaust.

 

Any ideas ?

    Plugs within the last 6 months with cam belt etc, where is the FPR located?

     

    Im also wondering if this is linked to the intermitent misfire.

    FPR is located to the right hand rear of the plenum, a top hat shaped diagphram unit, angled down, fuel in one end and vacuum from the balance bar in the other, but it does sound like PTU...

    could be a fuel leak around the FPR, very common problem, examine all the pipes, and sniff like Kerry Katona...
