Ok so ive looked all over for this detail and cant find it so just to confirm once and for all for everyone what is the AR on the side of manual turbos?

I take it Auto ones are AR 48 but so far i havent found anyone with manual tubs to confirm what the AR is on them

cheers i never looked at the manual ones to remember but im sure i have some manual ones in pieces

48 seems too low to me, the difference between the manual and auto AR was only ever around 10 from memory.

i have a set of turbos here now they have A/R 48 on them and that is the same as everyone that has offered me tubs so far. Maybe the yanks are working on different measurements as usual. I havent seen a manual tub in a while so i cant remember the number on the side

Copy and Paste from one of my older posts :

Auto Turbos - A/R = 0.54

Manual Turbos - A/R = 0.63

Auto Camshafts - 240 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams

Manual Camshafts - 248 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams

Your looking at the Compressor housng, which is 0.48 AR for both.

The difference between auto vs manual A/R is the Turbine(exhaust) housings, and I dont recall it being printed on the housing.
