I know it's an age old debate but have narrowed my choice down to these 2 and can't decide..................... Your opinion or help greatly received:

 

Porterfield R4-S OR Mintex MDB1416

I know very little technically about pads, but seem to recall that Porterfield pads are well thought of and generally rated over Mintex, but Ferrodo DS2500 seem to be the best - thats what I'm using and they work very well hot or cold.

I had the Porterfield RS-4's on my last zed. They were the dog's dangly bits!

Never had any bother with them, but then again, i hardly drove it in the wet so i cant comment on that.

Didn't they squeal like a bitch or do I recall incorrectly?

Take a look at carbone Lorraine pads these are by far the best pads I've ever used on motorbikes for road and track use

If they are anything to go by my next set needed for a car will be these however much they cost

Would be interested for any comments by anyone who has used these on a car
