I need some paint for my 1990 silver import. I've looked at the other threads re paint codes and they appear to be American in origin - different from UK?

 

Would I be correct in stating that my car is Platinum Mist Metallic with code 673?

The name is irrelevent, different paint suppliers will have different names. You just need your code from VIN plate.

Your car is Ice Silver isn't it - like mine?

 

Let me edit my comment, seeing as yours is a 1991 and Ice Silver is from 1992 onwards then you could well be correct.

Yep KL0, Silver Ice Metallic, same here, though depending on who makes the paint depends on the name, it varies.

 

As yours is 90, could be different, try this, KH6 Glacier Pearl maybe? -

I think you want KL0.

673 is the typical 89-92 Silver z32 Paint code.

 

But as I said - you need to get it from the Vin plate to be sure, and Ignore paint names.
