go to wilkinsons and buy there moister stop box stuff its full of stuff like silica gel. it will help to reduce it.

Not touched the z for about 6 weeks. Thats not very long but the mould was really really bad, thick and green. The gear knob was completely covered in a good few millimeters :no:

 

Anyone tried something like this

Rather spend a few quid then end up binning all the carpets etc.

Just been looking into this myself today. It seems the mould is pretty easy to clean off but it will return unless you illiminate the damp and kill the mould off properly with an anti-bacterial cleaner. I've just ordered some bioblast stuff that's supposed to be good.

 

Also B&Q sell dehumidifier boxes (about £7) which should help afterwards or the silica gel bags mentioned above.
