Side impact bar is the only difference that i cant think of....although that may not have even come in till S3.

Either way, no difference in terms of fitment

Either way, no difference in terms of fitment or design.

top catch is stil there on both doors, its just not utilising the seatbelt attachment on a s2.

I knew you would be the 1st to reply cheers Dave :)

what about the top lock or latch how does that work? is it just a case of pull it off and fill the bolt holes :confused1:

And do i just take off the seat belts and cover them up with my door cards :cool3:

seat belts? not sure what series it was until they moved them from the door into the pillar

^beat me to it, lol. seat belts just unbolt and come away

You could leave the catch, it would not interfere with the lack of a catch on your S2, or you could remove. I cant recall how it would look with the catch removed from the door...

As for the belts, yeh just remove them from the S1 doors and fit your S2 cards and S2 door pillar over it.

Yeah, the S2's do have side impact bars, or at least mine did. I swapped mine over for S1 doors due to both of them being dented. I put my S2 doorcard and used the s2 pillars to cover up the bolt holes left from the seatbelt. All the wiring is the same.
