s2 heater ecu

How the devils do you remove/fit it?? I've found it, near enough broken my back getting down there but can't seem to figure out how to remove it completely!

The screw in the top corner which seems to be holding it to the metal mounting bracket is impossible to get to as there's just not enough clearance. I've removed the two screws visible below the ecu box which appeared to be holding the metal mounting bracket to the body but the thing still won't budge.

Any ideas?? I've had to remove the plastic piping which direct air to the feet to get at all of this so far....it's all in bits so would like to finish the job today if possible! lol

I had to use a flexi screwdriver to get that bugger out

Think I might have to do that too! Tried getting out but think I might have rounded the bloody thing!

I did a deal with the Devil and sacrificed a goat to get mine out...

lol....i think I might have to do the same...no goat here but have spotted the neighbour's dog....:devil2:

Its been a very long time since I removed one, but I seem to recall it only being held onto the metal plate by 2 small screws. Have to remove the ducting..etc and rubber pipe that goes to the ducting, and use a small electrical style screwdriver.

Its definatly a pita to get to
