Or you can change them both to manual zed seats, which are a bit lighter, i have a pair in mine at the moment that im changing back to electric ones.

Id just go on a diet to loose a few kilos and keep the heavy really comfy leather electric heated seats. Plus £600, thats like 6 fill ups.

this is something I intended doing during my retrim but I couldn't source a drivers-side manual seat by itself :( I gave up in the end and just retrimmed my leccy one

Recaro do a very good range which reflect the price range.

never thought of recaro !! thanks for the input ...i will have a search around , the drivers and passenger electric seat must have a combined weight of around 45 kilos maybe more .....its like having a fat kid on board all the time or carting round for no reason two bags of cement ......

Heya Kaza, I have a spare pair of Bride RO rails which allow recaro's to fit if you're interested? The Z's an interesting one because the stock seats acctually sit about as low as you're gunna get. I switched for some evo recaro's which were considerably lighter and they were only a few mm lower at most. Also to be honest, they were a little firm for my liking - I went back to the grey tweed and automatic adjustment and it's like being back on a familiar sofa. That was after spending in the region of 1k on seating.

Hi Kaza

We'll have a couple Recaros going soon out of JAn's Version 'R' Zed They are too low for her because she's not tall at all..... I'm putting the leccys out of my Green zed in when I get my leather interior done very soon
