Help will not start

been parked since november waiting for time to replace the alternator belt was in dayly use every day before that.

 

alternator belt replaced

 

battery was flat jump leads on but will not start?

 

checked for errors on ecu have no errors have code 55.

 

fuell pump ok has it smells to petrol whit trying to start sometimes it almost starts has revs pick up to 450rpm but then nothing ?

 

already cleaned all conectors from CAS and PTU

any ideas apreciated.

I would double check the PTU connections matey, I had a world of trouble with mine, but could be a few things, also, could be flooded, mine is a pain in the arse to get going after it's flooded, take your plugs out, clean, and replace, also check them for defects too, this is not a very speficially helpful reply, but that's what I would do first....

maybe manky old petrol in it too?

 

that wont stop it starting, might be flooded.

 

You say you have cleaned the PTU connections, double check to make sure the plugs are seated correctly.

 

Also, get someone to sit in the drivers seat, get your head down at the rear drivers side wheel then get them to turn the key to the acc position, you should hear the fuel pump engage, if not might be that.

 

Also, check the fuel pump fuse in the small fuse box under the bonnet, its rated 30amp.

 

Did you just clean the CAS plug on the loom, or did you remove it and then refit it, could be the timing is out if you took it off and havent put it back in the correct position.
