Man im missing my zed right now! Its the nicest day of the year outside and my zed is in the garage having some welding done...not getting it back till next week!

 

Really looking forward to getting the tops off and cruising some of the cotswolds finest, but need a car!

 

As an aside, anyone got any nice summer trips planned? Ive got a 400 mile 4 day welsh tour with my dad in April which im really looking forward to :)

It was a nice day. Took the van home and took the M3, only to then need the van and have to go back home to swop!!!

woohoo, welding work is done! Just have to pay the man £700 notes and then shes mine again!

 

Driving the gfs 206 over the weekend was just painful... have to drive it ike you stole it to get it to move forwards :wheelchair: roll on 280lbft at 3500rpm again:biggrin:

holy moly thats expensive! Still, good to get it done and out the way. I'm planning some trips in the 300 as not had it on the road since last "summer", got a 2.2 prelude but it's not the same as having all that grunt and top end power! Wish I could take my dad, last time he got in it he practically sh*t his pants when he realised how quick it was

yeah, i could have just had it done up to be mot worthy for £400, but thought id get it done properly now :)

 

i reckon my dad will be fine as a passenger in my zed - his daily is a impreza turbo and he's no stranger to making overtakes that i wouldnt consider in the zed!

i took the roof of mine today when i finished work at 13:00,it wasnt to worm lol

Been detailing an Alfa right next to my SORN'd Z today, teasing me in the sunshine :(

whens the plan to get all the zeds out of hibernation and back on the road? im still yet to see another zed on the road, other than on the way to or at zedworld!

i was out at my zed today, sorting out my crooked back wheel from when i replaced the hicas arm, its now driving straight and true, but will get the tracking done again properly as i was going by line of sight.

 

But had the targas off once id finished cleaning all the kids toys out of her. cant wait for the weather to heat up, green leaves on the trees and the sun out. should be a good summer if it carrys on like this.
