Has anybody here had them removed from their car? Does the law state they have to be located exactly where they are, or could I get away with using the corner marker dummys as side repeators?

Cheers, Dan

As far as im aware, as long as it can be seen side on, it doesnt matter. Some cars have them on the wing mirrors, you can get an led kit that lights from under the car, so shouldnt be a problem

Ah thats interesting, You mean like a small Undercar Lighting kit that I could wire to my indicators, I wonder if it would be bright enough in the daytime

The full mot rules database can be found online.

But if by corner marker dummys...you mean the fronts on a UK car, then that is exactly where the standard front indicators are on all Import Z's

I think he means getting rid of the front wing repeaters, and replacing them with bulbs in the rear side markers (would have to be a clear lense and orange bulb tho)...
