No camber adjuster?

My 91 Jap 300zxtt has always eaten the inside edge of tyres and I finally got around to getting a full steering geometry check done. Was told that the camber is -2.5/-3.0 degs out and that there is no camber adjustment on the multi-link suspension. They suggest getting plates made up to attach between the wheel arch and the upper arm to move the top link out until it sits at the correct -0.5 degs. Anyone got a better answer?

a) You could get new stock springs and return the ride height to normal. The more its is lowered the more neg camber you have. Might also need new bushes if they've sagged.

b) If its on the rear then there is a little adjustment by adjusting the inner bush mount on a TT. See the online manual.

c) On the front you can get adjustable top links. Prolly also for the rear too.

do you know the height drop ?

i have put metal plates in to counter the negative camber after i put eibachs on.

i got the plates from got_rice ( www.eatricezone.com i think) in the US, he supplies a complete kit, plates, bolts and washers.

30 or 40 quid, which is a lot for the materials, but not a lot compared to full adjustable a-arms, and were the right thickness for my springs....

Don't know the exact amopunt of the drop as the car came from Japan like this, but the guy doing the geometry check estimated it at 20mm. How big a drop did you take with the Eibachs? How big were the plates supplied for you to fit to sort it. If I can have these details I can probably get some plates made up adn then start with fitting them one by one until the camber is corrected.

The kit from Eatrice is $100. I got my Nissan dealer to call them and they gave him the dimensions of the two sets of plates. He is making some up from 6.5mm aluminium for me and will get them fitted and camber rechecked after Easter. Thanks to all. If anyone wants the same doing email me off forum and will supply the dealers name/tel.
