Whirring noise at back end

I've go a quite loud whirring noise comming from the rear wheels it starts at about 40 kms and gets louder the faster i go, sounds like a wheel bearing but ive only had the car a few days and i know nothing about likely faults with these. anyone got any ideas?

Check your pads. They make a wirring noise when they're getting low.
