engine knocking noise j spec tt

Hi ive a slight metallic knocking noise somewhere about the engine engine runs fine. oil pressure fine. Any ideas what it could be and is there trouble ahead. thanks. john

    Its hard to tell from your description but possibly a lifter,most common cause of zed engine rattles,sometimes some lifter treatment will sort it.It could be so many things though,if your that worried dont drive it and have it looked at in case it causes more damage.
