Personally, I'd go for the Casino theme..

Lots of green baize and mahogany cupboards. The girlfriends wardrobe would spin just like a roulette wheel to help her make up her mind. My drawers would be like a one arm bandit, pull the lever and it dispenses any random peice of clothing that I'll happily wear for the evening (even if the missus says 'you're not wearing that, are you?').

On the walls would be optics of every description, just to help you feel 'comfortable'. There would be an obvious entrance, but very difficult to find the exit - giving credit to the term 'fashionably late'.

I also have great ideas for a funfair themed walk-in wardrobe. Waltzers, carouselles etc, not to mention a big dipper

ground breaking stuff, totally unique

have you considered a theatre type theme? the way my missus changes outfits it would probably be quite appropriate

yeah had thought about a theatre style but didnt think it would go with the bedroom as its kinda minamilist (if thats how you spell it lol) modern type. She would quite like a kinda burlesque style

So, how do you get into the wardrobe? Up a flight of stairs (a la dorma bungalow) or up a ladder?

I built a walk-in wardrobe for my missus, but as it was in the bedroom I had to just blend into the rest of the decor. If you've got a seperate room, surely you have a bit more free reign design wise?

Whats the current bedroom theme? Modern minimalist or homely minimalist, or... what?

we had a built in wardrobe in the bedroom which i have converted into having stairs in it (i know im not meant to have permanent acess but il change them to a ladder if we ever sell the house) bedroom is all white black leather bed flat screen on the wall and a few black fancy shelfs. gonna kinda re do the room when i complete it all but nothing major so could incorporate the theme into it we quite like the idea of a black grey and purple colour scheme

got one lay around for me lol

LOL - maybe mate!!

The company I work for installs platform lifts; mainly for disabled access in public buildings, shops, schools etc. We also do the odd home lift as well but they're not cheap.......

....well they are cheap compared to a full blown conventional hydraulic type lift; but it can still be around £14k for around 2-2.5m travel:tongue_smilie:
