Well after almost 6 months of ownership ......

 

I had to go to town today for a battery for my garage door remote, so I also paid a visit to the kosovans and paid the customary fiver for a hand wash. They do a good job, but I prefer Meguiars to their bulk buy wax, so brought it home, waxed it up, and FINALLY got some photos of my car.

 

In my rides section if anyone fancies telling me why my spoiler is different to other UK Zeds I'd appreciate it :D

Since I'm fussy and don't like what the forum did to the resolution on the photos, I've uploaded them to my hosting too.

Car looks nice, but one thing i noticed, your wing where it meets the door, its obvious that someone has jacked the car up in the wrong location and crushed the sill, and pushed the wing out. you might want to get that checked as it will rust through just there.

I've not seen that spoiler before. Definately aftermarket. Looks similar to OEM but without the center part for the rear brake light. On UK cars a blanking cover was fitted instead.

Vodkashots you gem! The previous owner said he "wrote off a plant pot" in his driveway, makes more sense to me (Now that you've said it) that he tried to jack it up in the wrong place. I was planning to take the wing off today and try to straighten it out, if I had, perhaps I would have noticed the sill being bent as well, will have to get a better look. Cheers!

 

Yeah Baz, very odd, I quite like it, but if it's aftermarket it's been on a while, the paint is flaking quite a bit.

 

Mikey, if I bunged you a bit of cash, would you be able to actually replace my sills? At least one of them needs replacing because it's rotten through, liamhutch who is breaking his car on here has said if I want to cut his out I can lol? I can't weld for toffee though!

They're sills, I'm not fussed if it's need or not, can file the welds down a bit and the re-spray will take care of the rest lol. Oh and yes, I would need your help at liams lol.

I also need the top hardpipe out of the engine, mines split, oddly it isn't affecting the temperature of the car, but I'd rather get it replaced. If you spot one at Liams, or you have one, let me know matey.

Np matey, was one of the reasons i ended up breaking my black zed, that and the fact one of the turbos ended up dead.
