bought a second hand exhaust today off a good lad from this forum:thumbup1:

 

My 93 TT SWB existing exhaust's back box is hung on the coventional style rubber mounts, (L bracket style and push fit, 2 per box)

 

The new exhaust i aquired today was mounted on a single soild rubber mounting, flat plate on can and bolted in place, 91 SWB TT.

 

Are they 2 types of mount on SWB or is one a custom jobby?

my 91 swb TT owned since dot and largely original has the conventional rubber hangers.

I only have the exhaust now, the custom hanger is on ZX-TT 's car. 7 hour drive to pick up the exhaust, what a nice bloke and top car he has i must say.
