As they are a very rare car dont see many just curious really more than anything.

Hmm, wasn't that amount when I was looking, maybe 25-50 on a good week !

I was wondering about that too, and how many of each variant, but seems info isn't free :p

alot of people only drive them on rare occasions in the summer thats why you dont see them on the roads. Id reckon that there is less than 100 Slickies in UK though and same goes for verts :)

maybe il purchase the info at some point and post it up

This has been looked into many times in the past - but its pointless as there will only be accurate(ish) records for number of official UK cars left, and not Imports, as all the imports come in registered in all manner of different names. The imports make up about 80% of all Z's here

One of mine is down as "Nissan Coupe", and the other just says "Nissan".

When i went to get insurance on my silver zed, when i typed the number plate in and then pressed "find my car" it came up as a 3ltr Nissan primera :confused1:

So im not even sure if most of the jap spec ones will be registering as a 300zx lol

this is what they said,

The report I ran covers everything the DVLA have on 300zx , if there are any other model names you with to be included in that please let me know.

We specialise in accurate vehicle data, we have to date corrected over 9.7 million mistakes on the raw DVLA data and have further enhanced each vehicle record with up to an additional 90 fields of data.

Our data is recognised within the industry as the most accurate vehicle information available, and as such we supply over 90% of the UK parts market including many specialist imported parts suppliers such as ADL Blueprint.

The reason so many insurance companies don’t return the right vehicle data is that they are reluctant to pay a premium for accurate data. We work with several specialist imported vehicle insurers purely because our data is more accurate, and as a result of that the vehicles can be graded and rated correctly and more importantly adequately insured. ( trust me I share your pain I own a Subaru Legacy GT S2 twin turbo estate that is forever getting called a 1.8 GLX ! )

The only hope of accurate data is if they can search by VIN number range, and there are several differnet VIN number types for each version of the Z32. If they only search by make and model then its useless.
