wire tuck

Hi all,

I'm in the process of connecting the new loom to the engine and I'm trying to hide as much as possible.

Do you have to remove the plenum the hide the cables to the coil packs and injectors?

Thanks Dan

Well normally the loom for the coil packs and injectors run over the middle of the top of the plenum, but you can split the loom and feed the plugs under the plenum along the rocker cover, will be a bit fiddly and you might need to use a pull through wire, but do-able

Hi Buddy,

It's going to be near impossible to do it with the plenum it situ.

Whip it off other wise you will experience problems at the back of the plenum where the loom feeds through.

Dam i think ill leave it for now then :( Ill make sure everything is running perfect first.

I want it looking as good as yours Andy :) Also i noticed you have bonnet latches..Did you have to make brackets under the bonnet so the pins reach?

Thanks Dan

I had bonnet latches before Dan and its just a case of mounting them into the metal bracket behind the headlight next to the bonnet rubber bump stops :)

Oh right easier than i thought then. Just a case of getting it all in the correct position. I really only get 1 shot at getting it right with the carbon bonnet i guess :(

its pretty simple fit the bonnet then use a big fat marker pen and poke it through the hole then drill :) i take it the bonnet has a hole already for the latches?
