Following on from this last year http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=138672

Now I am having the foam spoiler removed and replaced, ducts installed on front bumper and a repair to the nearside door which had more ripples in it than Barrymore's swimming pool

Foam spoiler removed from tailgate exposes a half - decent condition underneath

Door taken off

Like to meet the Picasso who painted this door last time, must operate in the dark or has a white stick

More pics to follow on the progress!

Are you leaving the wiper on ?

Are you putting a tailgate skin on, or a perspex strip (assuming from previous thread its a 99 spoiler your going for) ?

Should be a top job judging from the previous work :)

Yeah I think im leaving the wiper on, unsure yet.

Ive shelved the plans for a 99 spec and im going for mid level spoiler with new perspex strip.

Yes I was well happy with the last job!

i can't wait to see it finished dude, she'll look lush.

So what are you doing with your 99 spec spoiler? Did you buy one in the end?

That looks familier

Im getting mine done again soon. last job was :xxx:

Nah I didn't buy one in the end, decided against it!

I think that i will be getting one in the near future to stick on my boot, i have a smoothed lip now, but since its a LWB i think that it needs something else to be honest.

When do you think she'll be back on the road?

if you don't mind me asking, how much and where from?

Its going to run me around £600-700 I think with all parts paint and materials. That includes a brand new Nissan supplied perspex strip with brake light.

I'm having it done at the Nissan dealership where I work. We got a quality body shop run by a guy called Gareth who is well into JDM cars especially Scoobies so he knows exactly what I'm after.

I was going to have the ducts in black but after much deliberation and experimentation on Gareth's part we have decided to paint them anthracite the same colour as my wheels

i take it that's discounted as you work there =( if not, that's a bloody good price and would be very interested in bringing mine down before summer.

cant wait too see yours once done, will look very nice. mine is in desperate need of a respray to get it looking nice and new.

It's going to look top dog when it's finished :) The ducts look mint in the anthracite colour, when I popped in to the bodyshop yesterday to have a sneak peek they were in the bumper and gave the front end a whole new look.

I can also vouch for Gareth the guy doing all the work he also did the full re spray on my Zed last year.

I may go and have a little nose at the spoiler now it's here and being prepped!

Be nice to see it finished for the weekend:cowboy:

I doubt it! I've just heard Phil saying there's a motorhome coming in for work with you on Thurs afternoon :(
