Correct turbo pressure

hi all, couple of questions regarding the turbo's, ive got a twin turbo with manual transmission and was wondering what pressure should the turbo dial be showing at full boost as mine sits just a fraction over half way which i assume if about 8psi if the total dial is 14, engine seems totaly standard apart from a exhaust upgrade.................... also need some help on gaining some bhp, looking at dump valves and induction kits but to be honest i dont know where to start... all help is greatly received :)

hi .9psi is stock, 7psi is safety boost, if you add a free flow air filter, get a rechip and boost controller.you can dial up to 14psi which makes an impressive difference.just make sure your engine is healthy before you start and there are no known faults..lee

also fit an aftermarket boost gauge as the standard boost gauges are unreliable.

Stock (9 psi):

Safety mode/Boost leak :

However the stock gauge is famously unreliable/innaccurate and should never be relied on.
