I,ve just seen this thread , your making a cracking job there bud :thumbup:

Are you a panel guy by any chance cos i,ve seen worse welding and repairs done by so called fully skilled panelbeaters i,ve worked with in the past ??

It takes time to get it how you want it but it,ll be well worth it in the end , i,m on the rebuild stage now but it,s took over a year to get there :hyper:

Keep the pics coming bud :thumbup1:

hi to all, if ur following this thread dont worrie i hav not give up on the car, i have not posted anything for ages. well i have finished all the welding, there was more than i thought. also i have rubbed, prept the engine bay and painted it.

the plan is! now that the engine bay is painted i can get the wiring loom in, then the engine and dash etc. cus with winter is on the way so i carnt paint the body. so if i put all the engine back in it give me something to do over the winter. also if i scratch or mark the body it dus not matter as its not painted. you know what i mean.

sorry about the photo quality.

Just seen this mate, very well done

all of your pics remind me of my project. i think we are at almost exactly the same stage, i am waiting till spring now to paint the shell so its engine/suspension bits for me too (once the welding under the car is done)

the engine bay looks good, what colour are you going, black i guess

Thanks bud. Well the engine bay black and black roof and back window also black out the glass on the roof so it all looks like its all in one, if that makes sence. Then red brakes and suspention then the car will be painted white. ???????
