i just thought i would start to post some picky's.

well i brought my zed about 12months ago and had some fun in it, but the body work was rotten. so i brought a shell of daz and thanks to him its a good shell. i have got the change every last nut and bolt over from 1 zed to the other. GOOD FUN! so her r a few pictures of my progress.

 

the new shell when i collected it.

started work on it asap and i removed the aerial

repaired the rear arch as it had a bit of rot on it.

put on the door and wings also welded up the indicators, give it a clean look

i am using this one for me parts. its got a good engine and box in it just need a little TLC on the interior nothing major.

it might look in good condition but there is more filler in it then a body shop.

Wow, nice one Lee, I cant belive its the same car after the steam cleaning!! good luck with it, glad your happy with her :thumbup1:

good effort lee, good idea to steam it all first, gives you a better chance of getting everything where it should go.

You are a very brave man, and alot of hours ahead, but well worth it.

why weld up the indicator holes?? is it a road car and do road cars not have to have indicators on the side?? or are you planning something different :D ?

well i can put then in the mirror or in the rear bumper were the side light is. clear lenses and orange bulbs, no problem. i just want to have that smooth look. so no sticky out things lol

You are safe to remove the side indicator I think Lee as long as you have front and back.

American 300zx have no side indicators as standered and there are a few over here.

 

oh right mate sound. U learn something new every day. i think they look nice without them.

i have just had my front bumper from Zcenter (many thanks great guy) so i have fitted my front wings, was a pain! but got there at the end. so her er some pics

sorry about the poor pictures and yes i know i have not flatted down the filler yet. and i am not sure how u fit the wheels? LOL

 

i have now stript the doors right down and i am now welding up the handles then just got to put a bit of filler on the wings were i have welded up the side indicators, also i have a small bit of welding to do underneath the car and a few little dents here and there and then with a bit of luck it will be ready for paint wooopppppyyyyy carnt wait. i will keep u all posted.

Well i think its time u buy a zed Ian. U have a nice house but a zed will finish it of just nice park't on ya drive. Lol so come on sell the ford and a a zed, zeds r the past and the present and the future also my dreams erm i think i went a bit to far. Lol but i think u should hav one anyway ur missing out.
