February 5, 201114 yr Sorry mate, the letters used in your registrations means diddly squat to me, we don't have em over here :-)ย All i was pointing out was it was stated in the ad 94, meaning either a series 3 or 4 and as Quavey pointed out, UK cars go up to 94, so that fits. The interior is later spec imo which also suggested the same. ย I can understand someone fitting a UK front or rear bumper if thats whats available when being in a bang, but clearly makes no sense in someone doing both bumpers for any reason i can think off. ย However it was fairly cheap and imo worth checking out in the flesh to see exactly what is the story, if indeed it has one. As that is the only way to be sure what it is or was, oh and year for the likes of me! smithy ย Lol on the licence plate mate, fair enough. I can think of 1 reason for it to have both front and rear bumpers replaced; low speed pile up. ย But as you say, the only way to be 100% is to check the car out for your self. It may be that the new owner joins the club and we can find out more about it. Edited February 5, 201114 yr by Steams
February 5, 201114 yr Certainly looks to be full UK spec to me and the pic that might look like folded mirrors, to me ain't. ย A series 4 TT with Cambelt done at less than 2.5K is bit of a baragin imo. (subject to good body work underneath) ย Smithy ย UK cars were never series 4. There was only two variants of the UK car and both had cruise control and neither had folding mirrors. It's some strange assembly of bits that car - either a UK car with an import interior, or a jap with uk bumpers. ย I'd leave well alone.
