You cannot fail to be impressed by the sheer enthusiasm of zed owners, a case in point this week, the brief was to replace the coil over shocks and springs with some new non coil over shocks and springs all supplied by the owner, ok pretty straight forward , but what a nice surprise to find he had supplied everything by that I mean everything, every nut, washer, bush, suspension top mount, body gaskets, etc.

Made for a nice build up, some of the parts were required as his coilovers lacked the standard top mounts but even the new bolts and washers made it a nice job.

nice!! what did he do with the coilovers??

The shocks are leaking so they are been sent back for refurb and he will have them refitted when he returns to the US.

Wow that is impressive! Looks almost like an insurance repair! :thumbup1:

Love seeing shiny new parts being fitted. I bet it's not often you have all the parts supplied and to hand like that. Fair play to the owner. Like you say Jeff, I bet it makes it a nice job.

Sure did make for a cool job, the frustrating thing is the cost! all the parts including the shocks and springs came in under $500 from the states, as the guys has US army connection he got it delivered free of charge!!! we do so pay through the nose for this kind of stuff here!

being a mechanic, having customers like this really makes jobs so much fun....dunno what it is about new bolts ?!
