Shows how screwed this country is when recruitemnt consultants get made redundant, over half my companies sales force got made redundant today me included :((

 

So there will be lots of parts going cheap in my threads to try and get some cash in to survive on while i job hunt.

Im sorry to hear that Craig, but you are right the country is in dire straits.

Sorry to here this Craig thats bad news my wife is a director of a recruitment company and companys looking employees have fallen dramatically and whats left dont want to pay large fees for new employees it is as you said a sign of the times. Good luck to you anyway Craig:clover:

Sorry to hear that Craig, i hope you get it sorted soon. I work for the youth service in oxfordshire and we are about to lose 200 full time posts (mine included) which equates to about 300 staff out of work, and 20 out of 27 youth and community centres closed by June/July.... all to save the county 150mill over 3 years!!!

 

Yet the government are now to de-commision the Nimrods which have already cost 4 billion and will cost another load (in the millions) to get rid of them... only to buy the technology in a few years from Boeing for another couple of billion!!! it beggers belief!!

cheers all it sucks, but hey we do love our great british goverment they do so much for us lol, let the job hunting commence
