Going to look at a Zed tomorrow. hopfully its the one and i buy it! We'll see, looks in amazing condition.

The red zed's still sat outside. But it made more sense for me to buy a Zed in better condition than to "rebuild" the red zed. I'm going to finish spraying the standard wheels black, give if a good clean inside and out then she'll be up for sale. She's pretty mechanically sound, but cosmetically she's seen better days. Not gona be asking much for her, if i see £1000 i'll be happy :)

That's completely the wrong attitude. You should spend at least 5 grand on the red car - then sell it for 4 grand. I watch Wheeler Dealers all the time - you might loose some money, but you can feel all virtuous because you saved another wreck from the scrappers..

 

You spend 5k, stick it up for 4k - I'll offer you 3k, then we'll haggle a bit before, finally, I buy it for 3.5k and everyone is still smiling! WTF?

 

Put it on Ebay - 600bhp monster, fabulous condition - £10k
