prop shaft questions

I need some advice on prop shafts please.

 

I am looking to uprate to a single peice shaft, at the same time as changing the rear subframe to an NA version (complete including NA diff) on my SWB TT Manual (converted from auto)

 

So, a two part question really:

 

a)which material should i choose - Steel, ally, or carbon? I will be uprating the engine power in due course so it needs to take a fair amount of torque.

 

b) Where can i get one?!
