Hi,

I have small problem - my 300Zx TT starts perfect when cold, but after few minutes of driving or engine running it switches engine off and wont star properly anymore (unless it's cold again). Even when i stand on traffic lights and take foot of gas pedal engine shuts..

take the panel off that sit between the headlights and itll be the first thing you see

hope that helps

MAF is the mass air flow sensor attached to the air filter, maf.jpg

however your problem sounds like a dodgy PTU ( power transistor unit) which acts like a distributor, you will find it at the front left of the cambelt cover. Plug in and out
