PCV Replacement

Has anyone ever replaced the drivers side PCV with the engine still in?

The passenger side was a doddle by I just can't work out how to get at the driver side one.

yup...all you need is patience, bandages, do some swearing and .... get more bandages

try to cut the old hose with a small knife and put some wd40 on the new hose.

a small pair of long bend pliers is essential as well..

Dont worry mate,

just keep plugging at it. I managed to do mine a few months ago, a bit fiddly but you can eventually do it, use a 19mm ring spanner to slowly get it out turn by turn, you can cut the pipe if it is too stiff, mine were pliable enough to just pull out fairly easily, so I didn't replace them.

best thing to crush the pipes so you can bend them and get them out is a pair of mole grips. clamp them to crush the pipe, then lock them in place to give you back 2 free hands to wiggle the pipe out or undo the nut.

Good luck,
