Can anyone tell me if these are cats or pre-silencers?

I have no cat further up towards the engine, which is why I wondered if these were cats, fitted by someone trying to piece a system together using universal bits.

It's very loud, so if these are pre-silencers they're not doing a very good job.

Haven't seen any other Zeds with a similar system, I think I'm the only one, they're a pain for catching on things.

Looking at the 'not-so oval' shape mate, that looks like a Bitsa job!:cowboy:

You mean someone made them? Oh great! Wonder what's in them...

My zed is K reg, which I think means I legally have to have a cat for the MOT?

Do you think perhaps these are pretend cats to pass the MOT, but really just through pipes?

Just guessing really.

P.S you don't need cats as the Z isn't in the Database, so you need to pass the basic test, loads on here not running cats and have no problems with the MOT.
