Are UK & Jap Fuel Filters same?

Called my local Nissan Dealer Dunces today for a fuel filter.

They needed the part number from my filter then the chassis and model numbers...

They are e-mailing the details to Nissan HQ to find which one I need!

Surely there are not loads of different filters?

Anyone have a part number for a TT import so I can tell the idiots?

From the UK parts database;

16400-Q0805 Strainer assy-Fuel Filter

From US parts database;

16400-N7600 (

16400-N7605 (

16400-N7605 (>06/96)

I got one from courtesy, works fine.. so I imagine that will be one of the US part numbers

Ignore the bull from Nissan. The easiest thing to do is use a chassis number from a UK spec car of the same age, then they don't whinge about it being an import. Remember, you probably know far more about the parts required for your car than the local Nissan guy does.

Hi Chris,

Lucky for you I've kept the bit of the box that my new fuel filter came in (ordered from local Nissan). The part number on it is:

16400-Q0800 (genuine Nissan part).

Cost me £16.50 (excl. VAT)

Hope this helps mate!

Danny
