Guys,

How do you get the injector caps off,i can just about get my finger down there,never mind two fingers to grab the cap.Need to clean the terminals.(middle one drivers side)

p.s Jeff,got everything going again but need to get the cap off the injector to be on the safe side.

 

Two methods;

 

small(ish) screwdriver, pry gently on the left side (from the middle of the engine), then while pulling on the lead to keep the plug from going back over the retaining peg, pry on the right side...

 

Or;

 

Small screwdriver, push the retaining metal spring clip out, and withdraw, trying desperately not to lose the metal spring clip...

 

WARNING: when I did this, two of my connectors shattered into several tiny pieces where they had gone brittle with the heat. If yours do that... dont blame me!

Thanks for the info,i wont blame you,i'll take all the blame.As a X carpenter i'm quite gentle.
