Just wondered if anyone has one and how you've found it? I'm considering it for my first smartphone.

There's a great Android camera app that does tilt shift photography (among many other effects). Off the top of my head, I think it's called "camera360".

Got the normal desire. I have to work out how to add apps before I start adding any lol

I too am looking at the HTC Desire HD, I get an upgrade the end of Feb.

I've been looking at deals and I can get one free on a 24 month contract for about £25 pm with free texts, some free calls and about a gig data. Around about the same deal I have now that I got 2 years ago with an LG Arena.

Many here are saying Iphone, and yeah sure they're nice to use, super quick, but the same deal is about £35 pm at the cheapest and a charge of hundreds for the handset.

What I'm trying to get at is it doesn't seem like a fair comparison financially. So it all comes down to what you can afford and are willing to spend on a phone.

Although I haven't used the HTC Desire HD I have watched review videos and read reviews and its seems to be a good phone.

For me it has to be the HTC... we'll see in Feb.

Thats really spooky cos my real name is Master Cookie Man

just saw and handles an HTC windows phone. have to say, its the closest i've ever seen to a phone that cab rival i-phone 4.....

You must be talking about Windows Mobile 7 there then? On the HTC HD7? Does look pretty good and to be honest is pretty cheap for a phone with software that's not long been created. I've got the HTC HD2 which was the version before the HD7 which only came with Windows Mobile 6.5 which was utter crap. Laggy, crashed all the time, consumed battery life like you wouldn't believe etc - and not only that but if you get it from o2 originally they disable software updates on it. So you can't just plug it in and get new firmware etc to sort the problems out. However I flashed mine with Android 2.2 and it really shows off the hardware that's in the phone! Much better than an iPhone4 now IMO. There's also a version of Windows Mobile 7 being tweaked almost ready to run on a HD2 ;) - any other HD2 users on here?

Well what i like about the WM7 phone is that they have looked out of the box, not tried to copy the i-phone user interface, but have come up with one that is really intuitive and fresh.
