Is it possible to fit these elbows with the car on a lifter and the gearbox removed, or is it an engine out jobby?

you wont need the engine out to fit them or the gearbox removed.

same bit of kit that i have, ive got the turbo downpipes, full decats, x peice and exhaust. the difference after i put them on was instant. sounds great and the fit perfect. really makes the engine breath better and defo quicker. but luckily i have good turbos. as groover states, only thing i needed to remove was starter motor, and the old nuts on the back of the tubs can be a pain.

I've been waiting for Japspeed to get these back in stock for over 2 months now. I will definitely be fitting to mine.

it is a bit hard to take the oem pre cats out whit gear box in place, but possible :)

 

I recommend not to use the gaskets included in the new down pipes to turbo, re use the metal oem :)

Ok, cheers, the gearbox will be out anyway as I'm fitting a new rear crank oil seal, can only make things easier.... :)

fitted my downpipes and decats in me little garage with a the help of a jack! no need to take all that out.:thumbup:

downpipes yeah, but the link i posted at the top is the funky elbows too, and I remember the head of the bolts being rather slim, but not to worry, I have a rather large selection of hammers that I have accumulated over many years of working on cars :hammer:

yeah i fitted me 5 bolt greg dupree elbows/downpipes at the same time no worries.
