Hello Folks,

Im on the verge of getting my next Zed but the interia looks a bit worn, anyone got any idea how much a full referb would cost?? I.E both front seats and rear and possibly carpets?

theres some good leather covers available from the states . only about £200-250 i think . some of the members on here have used them and the result is really good . as for the door cards and panels lots have gone down the D.I.Y route and if you are prepared to put the hours in the results can look amazing . if you do the work yourself £300 should give you a bespoke interior . theres lots of threads on here to look at offering advice on how to and how not to from members who have done recovers . well worth a look.

good luck with it and hope it turns out as good as some of the others on here.

I've heard of quotes upto 5-6k for a full on roof-to-carpet refurb (presumably with wilton shagpile and buffalo hide). :scared:

That was enough to put me off. I definitely can't be arsed to do jobs like that myself. They can sometimes look a little amatuerish too. Nothing worse than a new interior that sags like your 70 year old nan:cursing:

Anyhoo - I would guess there's a happy medium somewhere but I bet you it would still be upwards of 2k. And that's a lot of money you'll see very little return on. However, you'd appreciate it every time you sat in it.

Don't go for the most expensive materials and the cheapest fit - thats a sure fire recipe for disaster. Average materials fitted well, will always look better - miles better.

ANd if you do get it done - be sure to share your results..
