It may well be registered in mid 94 here in the UK but Im sure you will find its factory build date will be 93.

Spec changes are defined by build date not registration date and for some cars this can be well separated.

 

Good point Pete - sales of the 300zx in the UK really slowed up towards the end of its run over here; so I guess a lot of UK spec cars were sitting around for months waiting to be registered......

You could be right but mine is 93 and hydraulic and I got my info from here

meant to say Late 93 onwards for Series 4.

Yours looks to be a Series 2.

 

Wiki very bad source of info, anyone can edit what they like on there, and whats there now appears to be for the u.s market anyway.

It also has rear seat belts and drivers air bag so must be series 4

All UK cars have rear 3-point belts, but your right about the Steering wheel.

 

The non-painted Plenum Balance bar is another clue.

Nice motor! Without a doubt a series 4 model, just the perfect looking zed actually, tempted even though i have one!
