The filth followed me in a traffic car for about five miles a few nights ago. They were parked up in a garage then tailed me wherever i went for miles. Its a right pain in the ass trying to drive at like 30 and 40. Anyhows after about ten minutes I got pulled over.

I got out the car, the copper asked me for my name and said he wanted proof it was my car. I showed him my driving licence and he asked me if I had been drinking. I said "no" he said "right answer" got in his car and left again.

What was the point of that? cant you drive a decent car withouut being pulled over for nothing. I mean what a complete waste of taxpayers money?? I expect they ask the local doughnut van owner for Id as well.

I am expectiing a tug a week in the zed...

sounds like he was a bit of a ****, probably just wanted a closer look!

I'm sure some members on here have already had more than one tug a week over your zed

Sorry to hear that - but lmao at your weekly tug in a Zed! :tt2: Kleenex ahoy!:tt2:

ive been pulled over like this a few times now, never in teh zed though funny enough. ive had them scan all over cars check everything keep me for ages looking for something to book me over. and it ussually happens in hampshire, esp in southampton, lots of new recurits there making there arrest and ticket quotas. its pathetic. one of my friemds got pulled over by the same copper two days in a row, and had his car inspected on a ramp on a seperate occasion. it was a classic beetle he had just spent 10k making compl;tly stock and clean again.

looking at it on a possitive way, say for example that night some c*** stole ur car, then they would of cought them an u would of got ur car back, yeah its a right pain in the ass being pulled, but if uve done nothing wrong (which u didn't) then theres nothing to worry about, just bite ur lip an be as nice as poss an the pain will end quicker,

i got pulled all the time when i was 18 coz i drove a slammed 325I sport bemmer an i got a skin head, an look dodgy lol, pretty sure someone put a sticker on the back of my car i didn't see saying pull me im a dodgy c*** lol, the nicer i was the quicker they f***** off lol

just what i was thinking!!

I got pulled over in the Supra on the A19. The guy first pointed to the Double Din stereo and said "Whats That" to which i kindly replied " a stereo that plays MP3's".

The worst thing was that he asked why i was doing 50mph?? I was actually running out of fuel so the orange light was on. But i mean, why?? 50 is a perfectly resonable speed for a dead road at midnight.

Must be the season for it, my colleague's other half was stopped last night for doing 30 mph in a 30 zone - copper pulled him over, asked if he knew what the speed limit was, which was 30, and the police then made him take a breath test before eventually letting him go home :excl:

They are desperate for things to do now that the VAT increase has meant that doughnuts are now out of reach for most coppers lol.

I fully support the Police for pulling people over at random. there is to much organised crime, such as drug trafficking, Auto theft, etc etc.

I cant understand why people get arsey with the Police for being pulled over. if you have done nothing wrong, and your insured etc, then they will let you get on your way ASAP. Sometimes they only realise a crime has been committed by pulling someone over, buy the way they respond to it. Obviously a lot of people are Anti Police, but if your car was stolen, especially if it's a High end motor, then wouldn't you be glad it had been pulled over, and recovered?

the only time i've been stopped it was in my old honda prelude , i had just woken up for work and had been driving for like 2 minutes ( at 6 am ) , i was going 25/30 and a cop stops me asking why was i going so slow ?! geez lol you get some weird things happening to you sometimes :scared:

I think its a waste of time when you can go 30 minutes waiting for someone on a 999 call. Yet they have time to follow and randomly stop people for nothing... priorities are all ass about face in this country.

If my car was stolen I would have reported it and the tracker would have been activated. I doubt they would have caught any joy rider in my motor anyway unless in ran out of fuel or they stopped to change the music or something lol. Their time would have been better spent "solving crimes" rather than randomly looking for them. I mean out of 100 random doughnut stops for no reason with a clean ANPR check how many will actually be commiting an offense?.

Its one of those nanny state invasion of privicy things IMO

u might know know its stolen till later on, an its long gone, my m8 had his evo 8 robbed it was alarmed an trackered an right out side his house, woke up the next day an on can an tracker was on drive, he was well gutted

Yeah - I agree

As much as i think the police are useless wastes of space, I do think that pro-active policing is the way forward.

AT least he didn't hold you up too long..

Its a fair cop, guv...:detective:

lol one day a few months ago i was in the zed in acton, i was puffing a cig ( on a rare occassion ) parked up in a reseidential area . police van comes past me and stops behind. they turn left go down the road then come back n stop behind.

after ten minutes they come and ask me what am i doing here am i dealing drugs :D , i ended up givin the officer advice on doing a masters degree and i think he actually learnt something ahahahah

i think that stop searches are worth it when the police have valid suspicion.
