Sorry I`ve got no picture as I cant find the pipe at the moment, the pipe connects under and on to the plenum on the driver side and connects to the main engine, its tapered from approx 15mm down to 8mm and about 150mm long, any ideas what its called and has anyone got a good one?

That's what I was thinking as it's the only tapered pipe I can think of.

i did similar, the 2 sizes needed, with some fettling and swearing they will fit inside eachother, i superglued em, stuck a perfectly round jubilee clip on and stuck something the right size down the pipe to make it solid, left for a few hours, removed the jubilee clip and it's bang on, i'll probably change it to the proper one one day, but after about 18 months it's still spot on...
