Injector Harness Repair/Replace

My injector and coil pack connectors are in a pretty terrible state. Anyone got any opinion on whether its better to use the repair hareness from Courtessy or to get SE to change the entire harness when the engine is out in a couple of weeks. I'm feeling a little twichy about tjhe rapir option because I saw an earlier post about SE chargeing a fortune to do this repair

I would recommend a replacement, if the engine is going out.

If you would decide to repair it instead, take a look in the Tech section of my home page.

I'd agree entirely with Maciej - if the engine is out, get the whole lot replaced..

See the state of your injector connecotrs? Well I bet a lot of other connectors are just the same!

That is.. if the engine is out and someone else is doing it, get it replaced smile.gif My god is it a b*tch of a job! (having just done it with the engine in.. the hardest bit was getting the loom inside the car, and not because of the engine, but because of the dashboard..)

Does the dashboard have to come off???

No it doesn't.

You just have to crawl underneath.

Dont forget where right hand drive, and it would be easier with the dash out.

Aaron, and I had a hell of a job getting it down into the footwell.
