Hya, iam abit gutted, after trying to get my zed back to former glory I pulled it to the end of the drive and the car cut out with no warning, just like I turned the key off.

 

The car wizzes over but not trying to fire at all any ideas guys? engine always as been good.

Check the PTU plug connections. See if you can hear the fuel pump with the ign lights on dash but dont turn it over.

Cheers bud funny you say that about the fuel pump can not smell petrol when trying to start so may not be fueling, were is the ptu situated bud its an na if it makes a difference.

Makes no difference mate, its on the front left of the timing belt housing, just by the water pipes ptuloc.jpg

With the temp changes and being off the road a while, all sorts of zed gremlins about lol.

 

I would hazard a fair bet on fuel, if youre not smelling any. Check the fuel pump fuse under the bonnet near the brake MS and most importantly, check you have fuel in the tank lol

will check I thought maybe a fuse as well, there is fuel in the tank lol thanks again for the help.
