Fitted a courtesy light on my SWB as only the LWB's have them :clap:

Wire it in to the relay behind the passenger seat, it will then come on and off when you open and close the boot as there is a switch incorporated in the boot lock mechanism.

Don't forget a security measure also, as with the voltage drop if some loser opens the boot the alarm will trigger immediately.

I might spray the surround of it black when it warms up :thumbup:

Nothing to do with me the boot build so have never thought a great deal about it, I have tried but I cannot get the spacesaver out through that gap, even if I try it diagonally :tongue_smilie:

 

When I got the car I had even to fit spade connectors on the sub corner builds so I could lift these out when necessary :thumbup:

I have more MDF in my car than a builders yard :huh:

good place to store some spare undercrackers too :)
