do u think i could get rid of my indicator on my wings and smooth them off. I think it would look mint. But then i would have to put one in the mirror? What do u think

I,m just doing this with mine , i,m fitting led repeaters in the mirrors . I,ve also got a 99 spec front bumper and the indicators that are in this do wrap around the corner of the bumper giving visible light from the side and have read on here that because of this i shouldn,t legally need repeaters !! but i,m fitting them anyway .

These are made to be stuck on the surface , which looks 5hit so i,ve cut a hole and fitted them from the back so all the wirings hidden and looks sooo much neater .

They look the dogs danglies Boldy!!!

if i get rid of my side indicators do they flash fast or do i hav to regulate it?

If they do flash faster, you can use a load resistor across the 2 wires of the bulb supply to act as a dummy load/bulb

do i need side indicaters by law????

In a simple word, yes you do.....

......but to be more exact; you have to be able to see the indicators flashing from the side of the car. So if your front ones wrap around and can be seen from the side, you'd possibly get away without repeaters. Depends on the MOT inspector, I guess.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

she still looks great, never had any MOT problems, as it looks standard

mine was done by previous owner, havnt fitted any others anywhere though and had no problems with MOT

why not leave it connected behind the wing. you wont be able to see it and they wont flash fast. only problum will be if the bulb goes and they start to flash fast you will have to take the wheel lining out. but not a big job at all

:hang:

you could also get some clear side repeaters for the rear bumper and stick a couple of amber leds in as side indicators...
