Picked up the Zed from Custom Exotics tonight. It's been there for just over a week to get the following:

rust repair - rear quarters and sills

fabricate brake ducting and repair front skirt (smashed them up on a kerb!)

fit front fog light ducts (courtesy of carmad)

fit skirts and door fillers (again a carmad production, cheers to Kurt for sorting me out with these!)

Great great bunch of guys down there, very very friendly and fantastic comms! Haven't had a chance to look the car over in daylight yet but I'm chuffed to bits! Wasn't too sure whether the skirts would suit but really do like them now they're on!

Could only grab a few dodgy mobile pics in the dark but more to come!

What do you guys think?

I see its got the lambo doors did you do them?

yeah we have fitted them kit is an LSD item its the only one we recomend !!! yes there expensive but we only charge £600 to fit them where as you buy a cheap kit then we charge anything from £1500 to fit LSD kits are also idiot proof to use unlike the cheap kits ( no oops did I really just slam it that hard straight into the door striker !!!)

ChrissyP,

Now there's one part of his car that you don't see on any other 300zx. The Dash.. Absolutely amazing. If you can get permission from him to post up some pictures of it, then I'm sure everyone will be very happy to see it. I won't spoil the surprise but I believe a small handful of peeps here have probably already seen it a few years back when he was more active.

Hi Vig

Looking sweet.once they are tidied up and painted ownership is much more rewarding.now its time to enjoy the car all the time.the skirts really do finish it off.was great meeting you hope all goes well with her !will get some piccies of mine up when the weather gets better

cheers Kurt

Looking very nice indeed mate, and to think you were unsure about sticking skirts on her.... they bring it all in line now.

Awesome!! Nice one. Think the skirts really go with the rest of the car, and those wheels look spot on.

It looks sweet mate u must be chugged! May I ask how u fix the fog ducts in ! I have a set from car mad & will be fitting them this week, I'm assuming tiger seal?

Afraid I didn't fit them mate so couldn't tell you...had all the body work done in one go over at Custom Exotics.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to answer your question though if not Carmad himself!

Good luck and get some pics up once it's done eh!

Lol..cheers bud. That's my sister's MX5 in front of the Zed and my old man's new Jag XF (older model)...3L V6 in that and it really does go like stink!! Unbelievable ride comfort as well...if I could get an interior like that into the Zed and get some padding/sound proofing into the panels...waawaaweewaah!

And lastly my mum's civic..just a runaround really but she likes it...
