I couldn't agree more jimmer - and I disliked here more and more as the series unravelled.

I was more impressed with Chris in this episode and I thought it a shame that he didn't win. I also liked Liz and thought she would have been a strong condender had she not been fired in place of Stuart.

However I do not feel Stuart pulled the wool over Alan's eyes. Stuart was the series arsehole (they all have one) and keeping him in longer than necessary was purely for the TV ratings.....

.....Plus it gave Lord Sugar the opportunity to say he was full of shit and make a big deal about firing him; as the firings seemed a bit "tame" this series!!

Also is it just me, or does anyone else think that Stella was being set up as the winner from the start? Watching the flashback clips, it seemed that everything she did was only viewed positively compared to the other contestants. (I refuse to say candidates, as it is really just a game show and not a "proper" job interview process - whoever wins is only going to be given a "token" position). I mean, even when Stella did something completely stupid it seemed to be brushed aside in the board-room.........:detective:

Richard:cowboy:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I did think that the final should have been between Liz and Jamie.

I thought Stella's a bit one dimensional and uncreative, fair play to the girl she's come a long way and made her job her own outside of the show but does he really want a super organised corporate person when what he needs in times of businesses struggling is someone to sit there and make it run perfectly and on time but never get anywhere?

Going to Chris i think he lacks charisma, he lacks the enthusiasm that he needed to present and people take notice of him.

Now this is where Liz and Jamie come in.

I thought Liz was consistently good throughout and it was a real shock to see her go before the final and i think she would have been more suitable candidate than stella and you could tell lord sugar was a bit upset he'd missed opportunity especially when he said that in front of stuart in the your fired program afterwards lol

Jamie i think was a little underated, i think his presentation style was absolutely spot on, he was a charmer and could push sales and business deals through and he'd make alot of headway running sir alans business. Little things he did to get the sales shone through in the tasks and i think of all of them he deserved to at least get to the finals if not win it.

I think stuart was amazingly lucky to get past the dvd task unscathed as he was the other tasks. I know the type - i used to work with a stuart bags the brand and an irritating little arsehole he was too! :slap:

Ah another year over and already looking forward to the junior apprentice next year :hyper:
