Ok folks what size are the standard door speakers and has anyone got a good recommendation for replacements as they are crackling and im after changing them :)

Sorry mate this has been done so so many times, have a good look at some old threads

 

I have 6" in mine..

5.25" go straight in, anything bigger will need slight modification I think.

All down to personal preferance Marty. Depends what sound you are after. I have Hertz components in my Zed in custom MDF mounts and they get better all the time. However I have some jbl co ax in my van that I got for about 30quid in the sale from halfords and they deliver a really deep, rounded sound that punches way above the price. Listening to them is the only way to know what suits you. HTH.

Nice one bud. Glad it's sorted, will you be running the fronts of the amp too? Makes a huge difference in my albeit still learning opinion. With that sub and your uprated rears I'd go for components up front with a stealth/discreet tweeter install.

That could be an option or i may run another amp for the fronts and rears as the amp i got is only 2 channels so i could run a 4 channel and put it under the passenger seat :)
